 What are the account fees?
- With i-Stock, there are no account fees or hidden fees.
What are the investment charges?
- The investment charges will depend on your chosen investment fund. These charges are reflected in your portfolio value so what you see is what you get. Please refer to the Key Investor Information Document (KIID) for your chosen investment fund for further detail on charges.
Is there a fee to close my account?
- There is no fee to close your account.
Is there a fee to deposit/withdraw money?
- There is no fee to deposit or withdraw money.
What are the Income Tax allowances and bands?
- The current tax year runs from 6 April 2019 to 5 April 2020 and the rates are as follows1:

Personal Allowance | Up to £12,500 | 0% |
Basic rate | £12,501 to £50,000 | 20% |
Higher rate | £50,001 to £150,000 | 40% |
Additional rate | over £150,000 | 45% |
What are the Capital Gains Tax (CGT) allowances and rates?2
- The CGT annual allowance is £12,000, with £6,000 allocated for trusts.
- Basic rate tax payers will pay CGT at the rate of 10% Trustees and higher rate tax payers will pay CGT at the rate of 20%.
Do Income Tax and Capital Gains Tax apply to both an ISA and GIA?
- No. All gains made in an ISA are exempt from Income Tax and Capital Gains Tax.
- Any gains made in a GIA may be subject to Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax, and this will depend on your individual circumstances.

You will also be asked to confirm you wish to proceed with your deposit and that you have not received financial advice from i-stock.
